Margaret Livingston

Margaret Livingston

Margaret Livingston has been a successful competitor and loyal Member of the SDTA since passing her Associate exam in 1977 under the expert tuition of Miss Elspeth Strathern until her retirement, at which time she was privillaged to become a student of Miss Sheena Macdonald, thus enabling her to continue to develop.

Her own students were fortunate to have danced in Italy, Spain, France, Russia and the “Great wall” in China!

She is an SDTA delegate for the SOBHD and since becoming an Adjudicator in 1989 she has been honoured to Adjudicate both in Scotland and abroad and has conducted workshops likewise.

She is an active Highland Branch Committee Member and was Highland Branch Entries Secretary for nine years.

As a Fellow of the SDTA since 1991 she considered it her ultimate achievement to serve as an SDTA Examiner to which she was appointed in 2009.
