TheScottish Dance Teachers’ Alliance (hereinafter referred to as SDTA or the SDTA) wish to ensure that the SDTA UK Highland Scholarships is a safe experience for all involved.
The SDTA therefore require UK Highland Scholarship participants (hereinafter referred to as candidates) and their parents/guardians to adhere to the following guidelines when attending the event at the Alona Hotel, Motherwell.
All people in the building should keep a social distance of one metrefrom each other.
All adults/carers will need to provide details for track and trace purposes either by scanning provided QR code or leaving personal contact details on the day.
The hall will be cleaned/sanitised by employed staff of the venue/volunteers, before and during all sessions. Hand sanitiser will be provided. This will be available at the entrance and exit door as well as at numerous points throughout the inside of the hall itself.
All signage within the building must be followed.
Ventilation – doors within the venue will be opened at intervals throughout the event for ventilation
1m distancing will be provided within line up area.
1m distancing will be provided in dance area.
1m distancing will be provided in seating area.
This is a seated event so audience must remain seated.
Face coverings should be worn within venue.
Music will be played through sound system as no live music allowed within current guidelines.
If a person, a member of that person’s household or someone with whom that person has been in contact recently is exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19, they must not attend the event.
Please adhere to government guidelines and restrictions. In the event of the government issuing any new guidelines or restrictions which override this document, please follow the new government guidelines or restrictions.
